·                                4.Why did the provisional government not have its support of its people?- Pg18

+war was still taking place

-The Tsar was seen as redundant, and the existence of the provisional government did not change anything because war was still taking place instead pf the withdrawing. The war dragged on, and losses disorganization and desertions continued.

àtherefore, the provisional government was getting more unpopular to the people.

+The Petrograd Soviet was in power.

-the provisional governments did not want as much changes compared to the Petrograd soviet which consist of most Bolsheviks and Mensheviks.

-a lot of changes was planned on unlike the provisional government which made the people happier and relieved.

àtherefore, the Petrograd soviet gained more popularity compared to the provisional government.

+Old government and not revolutionary enough, slow to arrange elections for the assembly.

-Alexandra Kerensky became the leader of the government until an elected person from the Constituent Assembly was selected but it was slow.

àtherefore, people doubted them.
